Our motto of having an old age home in school is to give the first hand experiences to the learners and as a part the school’s initiative to sensitize the young towards the aged and the needy.
The main purpose of Old Age Home is to provide best possible comforts and facilities to the senior citizens living in the home. Here we aim to create an atmosphere of self-respect and self-reliance by encouraging the residents to participate in the different activities. It is located near Jwala Mukhi Temple, Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by clean and green environment and is well connected with good transport facilities.
Some of the facilities of our Old Age Home include:-
Accommodation:- Rooms are suitable for double bed occupation with attached bathrooms.
Library:- Special library with a collection of books on poetry, essays, short stories, periodicals, spiritual, philosophy and novels. In addition daily newspaper in local and English language.
Dining Hall:- Spacious dining hall with a color television. To keep the inmates healthy and considering age factor we provide them with tasty, nutritious and pure vegetarian food.
Garden :- It has beautiful landscaped garden having lawns, fruit, flower and vegetable plants. In the evening the inmates can enjoy the nature by sitting in the lawns and share their memories of the life.
Medical Checkups:- Regular Medical checkups will be organized by the management, with the help of renowned doctors.
Generator – It has installed generator to cater the problems with power failures so that elderly people will not face any problems particularly in the nights.
It is an ideal home in every sense. We have created a homely atmosphere within and all our members live like a good joint family.
